I'm (trying to be) an artist!

As part of my position as Creative Arts Pastor at Hope Cafe - I'm in charge of all things dealing with coffee and espresso. Yes - it IS an artform....a very tasty one! So, on top of my many hours I spend making sure our espresso and coffee is both roasted properly (which means making sure we work with a solid roaster) and brewed correctly by the employees - I also spend a great deal of time making sure that from a consumer standpoint it looks pretty too. So, I have a great desire that all of our employees will learn and perfect the latte artform....but that means I must perfect it myself in order to teach them. The following are just a few photos showing my efforts and attempts at creating beauty. I am pretty proud of the Rosetta I made in the horizontal pic below. Now if I can just successfully and consistently do that every time! (oh, and yes, I drank everyone of these lattes!)
